MISSION STATEMENT

The Momentum Project is a 5-month transitional living and personal growth program designed for young adults (18–28) who want to level up, gain real-world skills, and experience true independence in a supportive environment.
Our mission is to provide low-cost housing, meaningful work experience, and a step-by-step life-skills curriculum that empowers individuals to become capable, confident, and self-reliant. Participants live in a shared community—either in our Transition House in Roseville or on our 10-acre walkabout property—while training, learning, and contributing to creative and athletic projects that push them to grow.
We believe in hands-on development, structured accountability, and intentional community as the catalysts for adulthood.

Lead with Purpose

Our 10 acre rural property in Yuba County, CA serves as a Feral Cat Haven. Momentum Project participants learn about starting a non-profit, a business venture, and other types of organizations that bring value, solutions, and infrastructure to our communities.
Our Commitment to Wellness, Creativity, and Community
The Momentum Project is a sober living community dedicated to the health, safety, and personal growth of every participant. We partner with multiple organizations to provide resources, structure, creative outlets, and a true sense of belonging for young adults seeking direction and independence.
Over the years, we’ve learned that young adults thrive when they stay engaged in artistic, athletic, and community-driven pursuits. For this reason, we are proudly partnered with The Parkour and Performing Arts Center in Lincoln, CA—offering free access to workshops and training in full-body fitness, movement, and discipline. Participants can explore:
-
Parkour
-
Aerial Arts
-
Martial Arts
-
Tumbling
-
Conditioning and overall wellness
These movement practices build confidence, resilience, and a stronger mind-body connection—cornerstones of a successful walkabout.
Creative Partnership: Sun Blade Studios
The Momentum Project is also partnered with Sun Blade Studios, a Placer County–based film production company. Our rural property in Yuba County serves as the Sun Blade Studios movie ranch, currently in development.
Participants have unique opportunities to:
-
Join creative film projects
-
Learn on-set etiquette and production skills
-
Gain experience both behind and in front of the camera
-

This collaboration allows young adults to explore creativity, teamwork, and technical skills while learning how to use media as a tool for empowerment.
